Norm is on the Board of Directors of the Mustard Seed Project. USDA Rural Development provided critical funding to support the Mustard Seed Village on Washington's Key Peninsula, as part of the Mustard Seed Project's elder care initiative. Completed in early 2023, the village is a Greenhouse-Model assisted living community that enables local elders to age in place with dignity while also strengthening community support systems across the Key Peninsula.
